Binder is built for homeschool families. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what we expect from everyone who uses the platform, so it stays safe, respectful, and helpful for all families.
Expected Use
Binder is designed for:
- Planning and recording homeschool education
- Tracking student progress, attendance, and compliance
- Sharing lesson plans and resources with other families and co-ops
- Building portfolios and generating transcripts
Prohibited Use
You may not use Binder to:
- Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Share another family's private educational records without consent
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
- Distribute spam, malware, or deceptive content
- Resell access to Binder or misrepresent your relationship with the platform
Community Features
When using co-op groups, shared plans, or the community marketplace, be kind and respectful. Content you share publicly should be appropriate for a family audience. We reserve the right to remove content that violates this policy.
AI Features
AI-generated content (lesson suggestions, feedback, etc.) is provided as a helpful tool, not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it in your homeschool. Do not submit sensitive personal information (social security numbers, medical records, etc.) to AI features.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. If you believe someone is violating these terms, please contact us at support@binder.school.
